Durex Contemporary Art launches a program to present innovative contemporary art produced both in and outside of Brazil. Inaugurated in 2007, our gallery focuses on emerging and mid-career artists working in different mediums: photography, painting, video and instlallation. Among the artists represented by us are Adriana Tabalipa and Adriano Melhem, that have been showing nationally and internationally.

In order to reach a wider group of collectors, we are interested in collaborating with other galleries both in Brazil and abroad,offering our expertise and, possibly, space for future joined exhibitions.
Our gallery is located in a 'sobrado' in front of Praça Tiradentes (Tiradentes Square), in a 19th century historic building in the old center of Rio. It has 140 m2 on two levels, the ground floor and the mezzanine.
